April 6, 2023: Lafayette, IN 47905 The Avon Orioles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos to 0 in the Orioles league victory on Thursday.
The Orioles now have a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ben Davis for a non-league game on Saturday, April 8. Avon will meet a Giants team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Southport (Indianapolis, IN). The Giants record now stands at 0-3.
The Bronchos (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Andrean (Merrillville, IN). The Fighting 59ers enter the game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Andrean gained a win over Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN), 3-2, in a non-league game.
