Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Strongsville Mustangs (Strongsville, OH), 5-4 in a non-league test.

The Shoremen now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Olmsted Falls for a test on Tuesday, April 25.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Hayes Pacers (Delaware, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 15. Strongsville will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record.
