In Thursday's league contest, the Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) softball team the host Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ), by a margin of 10-7.

With the triumph, Higley moves its record to 17-7 on the year. The Knights travel to Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ) to play the Colts in a non-league contest on Friday, April 7. The Colts come into the contest with a record of 6-11. Buena lost 14-7 in their recent league contest against Desert View (Tucson, AZ)

In their next game, the Colts play the Cactus Shadows Falcons (Cave Creek, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 7. Casteel will attempt to move on its 10-8 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 16-5 record after their 4-0 league loss to Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ).
