Kennett Indians (Kennett, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Risco Tigers (Risco, MO), 8-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Caruthersville for a District 1 challenge on Monday, April 10. Kennett will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 15-2 non-league loss to Holcomb (Holcomb, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.
