April 6, 2023: Pittsgrove, NJ 08318 The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Schalick Cougars (Pittsgrove, NJ) and the visiting Timber Creek Regional Chargers (Erial, NJ), saw Schalick's softball squad nip Timber Creek Regional by a count of 8-3.
The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vineland for a non-league match on Monday, April 10. Schalick will face a Fighting Clan squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to Egg Harbor Township (Egg Harbor Township, NJ). The Fighting Clan record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Timber Creek Regional falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Chargers host Camden County Vo-Tech (Sicklerville, NJ) to face the Warriors in a Olympic - National match on Monday, April 10. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 0-4. Camden County Vo-Tech lost 18-1 in their recent league match against Cherry Hill East (Cherry Hill, NJ)
