Avalon Black Knights (Wheaton, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks (Fairfax, VA), 4-3 in a league test.

With the win, Avalon upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Black Knights host Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD) to battle the Crusaders in a Old Line test on Tuesday, April 9. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 4-8. Riverdale Baptist lost 13-1 in their recent non-league test against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA)

With the defeat, Fairfax HomeSchool falls to 7-1 on the season. The Hawks travel to NOVA HomeSchool (Chantilly, VA) to battle the Lions in a test on Wednesday, April 10. The Lions come into the test with a record of 3-2. NOVA HomeSchool won 15-11 in their recent league test against Southern Maryland Christian Academy (White Plains, MD)
