April 6, 2024: Magnolia, OH 44643 The Sandy Valley Cardinals baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Springfield Spartans to 2 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cardinals (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Ridgewood (West Lafayette, OH). The Generals go into the Inter-Valley match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Ridgewood edged River View (Warsaw, OH), 6-1, in a non-league match.
The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Chippewa (Doylestown, OH). The Chipps come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Chippewa nipped Southeast (Ravenna, OH), 6-5, in a non-league challenge.
