Connecticut High School Baseball - Taft School wallops St. Luke's
April 6, 2024: New Canaan, CT 06840 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) and the host St. Luke's Storm (New Canaan, CT), saw Taft School's baseball squad beat St. Luke's by a margin of 23-9.
Coming up next, the Big Red play the Trinity-Pawling School Pride (Pawling, NY) in a Founders battle, on Monday, April 8. Taft School will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Pride enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 5-4 league loss to Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT).
The Storm now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greens Farms Academy for a Fairchester battle on Tuesday, April 9. St. Luke's will play a Dragons squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Greenwich Country Day (Greenwich, CT). The Dragons record now stands at 2-5.
