April 6, 2024: San Francisco, CA 94112 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA) and the host Balboa Buccaneers (San Francisco, CA), saw Fremont's volleyball squad beat Balboa by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Fremont upgrades its record to 15-10 on the year. The Firebirds travel to Serra (San Mateo, CA) to play the Padres in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 6. The Padres go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Serra won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA)
The Buccaneers now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Grove for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 6. Balboa will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Willow Glen (San Jose, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-3.
