Illinois High School Lacrosse - Trinity can't get by Vernon Hills
April 6, 2024: River Forest, IL 60305 Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host Trinity Blazers (River Forest, IL), 6-5 in a non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Maine South for a test on Monday, April 8. Vernon Hills will face a Hawks squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 4-1.
In their next game, the Blazers face the Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL) in a test, on Friday, April 26. Trinity will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
