Rhode Island High School Baseball - Cumberland loses to East Providence
April 6, 2024: East Providence, RI 02914 In Saturday's non-league game, the host East Providence Townies baseball team scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Cumberland Clippers.
The Townies (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Westerly (Westerly, RI). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Westerly was overwhelmed by Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI), 9-1, in a non-league game.
The Clippers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Portsmouth overcame Middletown (Middletown, RI), 13-1, in a non-league game.
