Illinois High School Baseball - Tri-Valley gets by Lexington
April 6, 2024: Lexington, IL 61753 Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL), 6-3 in a league test.
With the win, Tri-Valley upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Heyworth (Heyworth, IL) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 9. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 1-1. Heyworth won 16-6 in their recent non-league battle against Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL)
The Minutemen now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host El Paso-Gridley for a battle on Tuesday, April 9. Lexington will play a Titans squad coming off a 16-4 non-league win over Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL). The Titans record now stands at 4-2.
