Illinois High School Softball - Antioch nudges Yorkville
April 6, 2024: Yorkville, IL 60560 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) and the host Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL), saw Antioch's softball squad nip Yorkville by a count of 4-3.
The Sequoits now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Prairie Ridge for a non-league match on Saturday, April 6.
With the loss, Yorkville falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Foxes travel to West Aurora (Aurora, IL) to face the Blackhawks in a Suburban Prairie - South match on Tuesday, April 9. The Blackhawks enter the match with a record of 2-2. West Aurora lost 13-0 in their recent non-league match against St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL)
