California High School Softball - Simi Valley bounces Barstow
April 6, 2024: Simi Valley, CA 93063 Simi Valley Pioneers (Simi Valley, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Barstow Aztecs (Barstow, CA), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Pioneers now own a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calabasas for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. Simi Valley will battle a Coyotes squad coming off a 19-3 league loss to Agoura (Agoura, CA). The Coyotes record now stands at 0-15.
With the loss, Barstow falls to 12-8 on the campaign. The Aztecs host Silverado (Victorville, CA) to battle the Hawks in a Desert Sky challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 5-11. Silverado won 17-16 in their recent league challenge against Adelanto (Adelanto, CA)
