April 6, 2024: Fairview, TN 37062 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Fairview Yellowjackets (Fairview, TN) and the visiting Piqua Indians (Piqua, OH), witnessed Fairview's softball squad tip Piqua by a count of 11-5.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they host East Hickman County for a non-league match on Monday, April 8. Fairview will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Camden Central (Camden, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Piqua moves to 7-2 on the season. The Indians travel to West Carrollton (West Carrollton, OH) to meet the Pirates in a Miami Valley League - Valley match on Tuesday, April 9. The Pirates go into the match with a record of 0-2.
