Virginia High School Softball - Forest Park bounces Mount Vernon
April 6, 2024: Alexandria, VA 22309 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Forest Park Bruins (Woodbridge, VA) and the host Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA), witnessed Forest Park's softball squad prevail over Mount Vernon by a count of 14-1.
The Bruins now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Potomac Senior for a Cardinal match on Tuesday, April 9. Forest Park will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Hylton (Woodbridge, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Mount Vernon moves to 2-3 on the season. The Majors travel to Hayfield (Alexandria, VA) to meet the Hawks in a National match on Monday, April 8.
