Alabama High School Softball - Hartselle holds off Huntsville
April 6, 2024: Hartselle, AL 35640 Hartselle Tigers (Hartselle, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Huntsville Panthers (Huntsville, AL), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 17-11 record. They take the field next when they host Hazel Green for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Hartselle will face a Trojans squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to South Warren (Bowling Green, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 21-9.
With the loss, Huntsville falls to 25-13 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Grissom (Huntsville, AL) to face the Tigers in a 7A Area 7 challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 9-17. Grissom lost 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Brooks (Killen, AL)
