Virginia High School Softball - Kellam bounces Riverbend
April 6, 2024: Virginia Beach, VA 23456 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Kellam Knights (Virginia Beach, VA) and the visiting Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA), witnessed Kellam's softball squad tip Riverbend by a count of 7-1.
The Knights now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Glen Allen for a non-league match on Saturday, April 6. Kellam will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Riverbend moves to 2-4 on the season. The Bears host Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA) to face the Panthers in a Commonwealth match on Monday, April 8. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 2-2. Massaponax lost 15-4 in their recent league match against North Stafford (Stafford, VA)
