The Windermere Wolverines edged the host Mount Dora Canes softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines meet the West Orange Warriors (Winter Garden, FL) in a 7A District 5 challenge, on Thursday, April 9. Windermere will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Winter Park (Winter Park, FL).

In their next game, the Canes battle the Apopka Blue Darters (Apopka, FL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 7. Mount Dora will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Blue Darters come into the match with a 11-4 record after their 9-3 non-league win over Boone (Orlando, FL).
