New York High School Baseball - Mepham loses to MacArthur
In Thursday's league game, the visiting MacArthur Generals baseball team scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Mepham Pirates.
The Generals (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Port Washington (Port Washington, NY). The Vikings go into the Section 8 AA-1 game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Port Washington was overwhelmed by Hicksville (Hicksville, NY), 4-2, in a non-league game.
The Pirates (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Carey (Franklin Square, NY). The Seahawks go into the Section 8 AA-1 game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Carey was overwhelmed by Garden City (Garden City, NY), 5-2, in a non-league game.
