In Thursday's league test, the host Marvin Ridge Mavericks lacrosse squad scored a good 18-1 victory over the Porter Ridge Pirates.

The Mavericks now have a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Weddington for a Southern Carolina/Rocky River test on Monday, April 11. Marvin Ridge will face a Warriors squad coming off a 21-1 league win over Sun Valley (Monroe, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 12-2.
