The Chariho Chargers held off the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's league test.

The Chargers now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Greenwich for a Division 1 (State) test on Tuesday, April 11. Chariho will confront a Avengers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Avengers record now stands at 1-1.

The Thunderbolts (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Classical (Providence, RI). The Purples enter the Division 1 (State) test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Classical was nudged by North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI), 3-0, in a league test.
