New Jersey High School Softball - Ridgefield Park bounces North Bergen
April 7, 2023: Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660 Ridgefield Park Scarlets (Ridgefield Park, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting North Bergen Bruins (North Bergen, NJ), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Scarlets now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Lee for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10. Ridgefield Park will face a Bridgemen squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Bergenfield (Bergenfield, NJ). The Bridgemen record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, North Bergen falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Bruins host Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ) to face the Hawks in a Hudson County - American challenge on Monday, April 10. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 3-0.
