The Welsh Greyhounds baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Hackberry Mustangs to 1 in the Greyhounds non-league win on Monday.

The Greyhounds now hold a 18-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bell City for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. Welsh will play a Bruins team coming off a 13-1 league loss to Lacassine (Lacassine, LA). The Bruins record now stands at 6-14.

With the defeat, Hackberry drops to 8-8 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Starks (Starks, LA) to play the Panthers in a C District 5 test on Tuesday, April 8. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 5-10.
