Illinois High School Soccer - Bloomington Central Catholic toppled by Normal University
April 7, 2025: Normal, IL 61761 Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Bloomington Central Catholic Saints (Bloomington, IL), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Normal University advances its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Springfield (Springfield, IL) to clash with the Senators in a Central State Eight test on Tuesday, April 8. The Senators come into the test with a record of 6-1. Springfield won 7-0 in their recent league test against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL)
The Saints now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Williamsville for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. Bloomington Central Catholic will clash with a Bullets team coming off a 11-0 league win over Auburn (Auburn, IL). The Bullets record now stands at 7-1.
