Alabama High School Softball - Fayette County bounces Lamar County
April 7, 2025: Vernon, AL 35592 The Fayette County Tigers softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Lamar County Bulldogs to 1 in the Tigers non-league win on Monday.
The Tigers now possess a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berry for a non-league battle on Monday, April 7. Fayette County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Oakman (Oakman, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-11.
With the loss, Lamar County moves to 11-13 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Tuscaloosa Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL) to confront the Knights in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 8. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 7-3. Tuscaloosa Academy lost 18-2 in their recent non-league battle against Lamar County (Vernon, AL)
