Kansas High School Softball - Royal Valley sneaks past Hiawatha
April 7, 2025: Hoyt, KS 66440 The Royal Valley Panthers softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Hiawatha Red Hawks to 5 in the Panthers league win on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jefferson West for a Big Seven battle on Monday, April 14. Royal Valley will confront a Tigers team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Riley County (Riley, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 8-0.
With the loss, Hiawatha moves to 4-3 on the season. The Red hawks host Silver Lake (Silver Lake, KS) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 2-0. Silver Lake won 10-8 in their recent league battle against Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS)
