Louisiana High School Softball - West St. John topped by Independence
April 7, 2025: Edgard, LA 70049 Independence Tigers (Independence, LA) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA), 40-20 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Independence improves its record to 3-12 on the year. The Tigers host Hammond (Hammond, LA) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 9. The Tornadoes enter the game with a record of 2-22. Hammond lost 21-0 in their recent league game against Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA)
The Rams now hold a 3-7 record. They play next when they host White Castle for a non-league game on Tuesday, April 8. West St. John will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 27-13 league win over East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-7.
