New York High School Softball - Morrisville-Eaton bounces West Canada Valley
April 7, 2025: Morrisville, NY 13408 The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Morrisville-Eaton Mavericks (Morrisville, NY) and the visiting West Canada Valley Nighthawks (Newport, NY), observed Morrisville-Eaton's softball team notch a victory over West Canada Valley by a final score of 12-4.
The Mavericks (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Cooperstown (Cooperstown, NY). The Hawkeyes go into the Section 3 Center State III bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Cooperstown gained a win over Sauquoit Valley (Sauquoit, NY), 5-3, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Nighthawks battle the Oriskany Skyhawks (Oriskany, NY) in a Section 3 Center State III bout, on Wednesday, April 9. West Canada Valley will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Skyhawks go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 13-3 league loss to Hamilton (Hamilton, NY).
