In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Aspen Skiers baseball team scored a nice 11-0 win over the Basalt Longhorns.

The Skiers (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Rifle (Rifle, CO). The Bears go into the non-league game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Rifle was overwhelmed by Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO), 11-1, in a non-league game.

Next, the Longhorns play the Gunnison Cowboys (Gunnison, CO) in a 3A Western Slope game, on Saturday, April 11. Basalt will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Cowboys go into the game with a 2-8 record after their 14-11 league loss to Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO).
