The Riverside Bulldogs baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Simmons Blue Devils to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now hold a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Humphreys County for a non-league test on Saturday, April 11. Riverside will play a Cowboys team coming off a 17-2 non-league win over Greenville Christian (Greenville, MS). The Cowboys record now stands at 12-8.

With the defeat, Simmons drops to 5-8 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Leflore County (Itta Bena, MS) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, April 9.
