The Girard Yellowjackets (Girard, PA) softball routed the host Cathedral Prep Ramblers (Erie, PA), 10-1 in Friday's league outing.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saegertown for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 18. Girard will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Meadville (Meadville, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Cathedral Prep moves to 0-6 on the season. The Ramblers travel to Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA) to play the Eagles in a District 10 Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 21. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Conneaut Area won 9-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Fairview (Fairview, PA)
