Mississippi High School Softball - St. Martin bounces Pearl River Central
April 8, 2021: Ocean Springs, MS 39564 St. Martin Yellow Jackets (Ocean Springs, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pearl River Central Blue Devils (Carriere, MS), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Yellow Jackets now own a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they host Bay for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 10. St. Martin will face a Tigers squad coming off a 17-11 league win over Stone (Wiggins, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 8-7.
With the loss, Pearl River Central falls to 15-5 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Sumrall (Sumrall, MS) to face the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 10. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 15-2. Sumrall won 13-2 in their recent league challenge against Poplarville (Poplarville, MS)
