April 8, 2022: Cranston, RI 02920 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI) and the host Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI), saw Burrillville's lacrosse team nudge Cranston West by a margin of 9-8.
The Broncos (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Huskies enter the Division 2 challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Hope edged Smithfield (Esmond, RI), 12-1, in a league challenge.
The Falcons (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Chargers enter the Division 2 challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Chariho was tipped by Toll Gate (Warwick, RI), 9-8, in a league challenge.
