April 8, 2023: Bel Air, MD 21015 The John Carroll Patriots crushed the visiting Long Reach Lightning baseball team by a count of 7-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mount St. Joseph for a MIAA A bout on Wednesday, April 12. John Carroll will face a Gaels team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over St. Michaels (St. Michaels, MD). The Gaels record now stands at 6-7.
Next, the Lightning face the Mt. Hebron Vikings (Ellicott City, MD) in a Howard County bout, on Tuesday, April 11. Long Reach will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 1-5 record after their 16-7 league loss to Centennial (Ellicott City, MD).
