Southport Cardinals (Indianapolis, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Pike Red Devils (Indianapolis, IN), 7-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Southport upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN) to battle the Golden Bears in a non-league test on Monday, April 10. The Golden Bears come into the test with a record of 2-2. Shelbyville won 9-7 in their recent non-league test against Triton Central (Fairland, IN)

With the defeat, Pike falls to 2-3 on the season. The Red devils host Ben Davis (Indianapolis, IN) to battle the Giants in a Metropolitan test on Tuesday, April 11.
