April 8, 2023: San Jose, CA 95148 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA), saw Evergreen Valley's volleyball squad nip Valley Christian by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Evergreen Valley upgrades its record to 12-2 on the year. The Cougars host Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA) to play the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 8. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Archbishop Mitty won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Aragon (San Mateo, CA)
The Warriors now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Leigh for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 8. Valley Christian will play a Longhorns squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Mountain View (Mountain View, CA). The Longhorns record now stands at 10-5.
