Illinois High School Volleyball - Providence Catholic over Maine East
April 8, 2023: Park Ridge, IL 60068 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL) volleyball squad knocked off the host Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL), by a margin of 2-0.
The Celtics (3-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Porters enter the non-league challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Lockport defeated Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Blue Demons meet the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 8. Maine East will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Metea Valley (Aurora, IL).
