California High School Softball - Burroughs holds off Dos Pueblos
April 8, 2023: Goleta, CA 93117 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) and the host Dos Pueblos Chargers (Goleta, CA), saw Burroughs's softball squad nip Dos Pueblos by a count of 2-0.
The Bears now sport a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arcadia for a match on Tuesday, April 11. Burroughs will face a Apaches squad coming off a 9-3 league loss to Burroughs (Burbank, CA). The Apaches record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Dos Pueblos falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA) to face the Spartans in a match on Monday, April 10. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 8-3. Rio Mesa won 11-0 in their recent league match against Buena (Ventura, CA)
