Ohio High School Lacrosse - Shady Side Academy drops to Mason
April 8, 2023: Mason, OH 45040 Mason Comets (Mason, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA), 16-9 in a non-league test.
The Comets now have a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sycamore for a Region 4 test on Tuesday, April 11. Mason will face a Aviators squad coming off a 16-7 league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, OH). The Aviators record now stands at 5-1.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Butler Golden Tornado (Butler, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 2 test, on Tuesday, April 11. Shady Side Academy will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Golden Tornado go into the match with a 6-1 record after their 8-5 league win over North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA).
