Wisconsin High School Softball - Mount Horeb bounces Barneveld
April 8, 2023: Barneveld, WI 53507 Mount Horeb Vikings (Mount Horeb, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Barneveld Eagles (Barneveld, WI), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to DeForest for a Badger - North challenge on Monday, April 10. Mount Horeb will battle a Norskies squad coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Tomah (Tomah, WI). The Norskies record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Barneveld falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Argyle (Argyle, WI) to battle the Orioles in a Six Rivers challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Orioles enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Argyle lost 7-1 in their recent league challenge against Highland (Highland, WI)
