In Saturday's non-league contest, the Buckeye Central Bucks (New Washington, OH) softball team overwhelmed the host Western Reserve Roughriders (Collins, OH), by a margin of 10-5.

With the triumph, Buckeye Central moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Bucks host Seneca East (Attica, OH) to play the Tigers in a Northern 10 contest on Tuesday, April 11. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 0-1.

In their next game, the Roughriders play the Crestview Cougars (Ashland, OH) in a Firelands contest, on Monday, April 10. Western Reserve will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 13-1 league win over St. Paul (Norwalk, OH).
