New York High School Softball - Fayetteville-Manlius bounces Christian Brothers Academy
April 8, 2023: Manlius, NY 13104 Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets (Manlius, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Christian Brothers Academy Brothers (Syracuse, NY), 14-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whitesboro for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Fayetteville-Manlius will face a Warriors squad coming off a 15-1 non-league loss to Troy (Troy, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Christian Brothers Academy falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Brothers host Homer (Homer, NY) to face the Trojans in a Section 3 Liberty challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Homer lost 8-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Cortland (Cortland, NY)
