Pennsylvania High School Softball - Whitehall gets by Cumberland Valley
April 8, 2023: Whitehall, PA 18052 The Whitehall Zephyrs (Whitehall, PA) softball nipped the visiting Cumberland Valley Eagles (Mechanicsburg, PA), 4-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Zephyrs (9-0) will now prepare for their bout against Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA). The Bears go into the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Pleasant Valley was edged by Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA), 11-0, in a non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Waynesboro for a non-league bout on Monday, April 10. Cumberland Valley will confront a Indians squad coming off a 24-14 league loss to Greencastle-Antrim (Greencastle, PA). The Indians record now stands at 1-1.
