John Glenn Little Muskies (New Concord, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Westfall Mustangs (Williamsport, OH), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Little Muskies now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Philo for a Muskingum Valley challenge on Monday, April 10. John Glenn will face a Electrics squad coming off a 24-2 league win over Coshocton (Coshocton, OH). The Electrics record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Westfall falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH) to face the Bearcats in a Scioto Valley challenge on Monday, April 10. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Paint Valley won 13-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington (Ripley, OH)
