The South Ripley Raiders nipped the visiting South Decatur Cougars softball squad by a final score of 13-12 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Raiders (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Switzerland County (Vevay, IN). The Pacers go into the Ohio River Valley battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Switzerland County was edged by Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN), 5-4, in a league battle.

The Cougars now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Oldenburg Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, April 10. South Decatur will confront a Twisters squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Southwestern (Hanover, IN). The Twisters record now stands at 1-4.
