Ohio High School Baseball - Steele defeats Archbishop Hoban
April 8, 2024: Akron, OH 44306 Steele Comets (Amherst, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH), 10-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Steele upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Comets travel to Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH) to battle the Shoremen in a Southwestern test on Tuesday, April 9. The Shoremen come into the test with a record of 2-1. Avon Lake lost 10-2 in their recent non-league test against Woodford County (Versailles, KY)
With the defeat, Archbishop Hoban falls to 3-2 on the season. The Knights host Strongsville (Strongsville, OH) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 9. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 2-4. Strongsville won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Jackson (Massillon, OH)
