April 8, 2024: Reading, MA 01867 The Austin Prep Cougars baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Lawrence Academy Spartans to 3 in the Cougars non-league victory on Monday.
The Cougars (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Landmark (Prides Crossing, MA). The Vikings go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Landmark was overwhelmed by Wheeler (Providence, RI), 9-5, in a league match.
The Spartans (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Belmont Hill (Belmont, MA). The Sextants go into the Independent School match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Belmont Hill tipped Milton Academy (Milton, MA), 3-2, in a league match.
