April 8, 2024: Plainfield, IL 60585 In Monday's non-league contest, the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) lacrosse squad routed the host Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL), by a count of 14-7.
Coming up next, the Spartans confront the Resurrection Bandits (Chicago, IL) in a Girls Catholic contest, on Wednesday, April 10. St. Francis will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Bandits come into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 9-4 non-league win over Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL).
The Bengals now own a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Downers Grove North for a non-league contest on Friday, April 12. Plainfield East will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 5-1.
