Louisiana High School Softball - Kaplan bounces Assumption
April 8, 2024: Napoleonville, LA 70390 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Kaplan Pirates (Kaplan, LA) and the host Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA), witnessed Kaplan's softball squad prevail over Assumption by a count of 12-0.
The Pirates now sport a 28-4 record. They play next when they travel to North Vermilion for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 9. Kaplan will face a Patriots squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 21-7.
With the loss, Assumption moves to 16-12 on the season. The Mustangs host Livonia (Livonia, LA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 9. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 8-17. Livonia lost 7-2 in their recent non-league match against Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA)
